Summer in South Tyrol

The Chalet Forciagn in Longega is located in the area right next to two of South Tyrol's most important and impressive nature parks. The Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park is an hymn to life and biodiversity, where animals of all kinds such as marmots and eagles thrive. The landscape is dotted with waterfalls and sparkling lakes, a splash of colors which change with the seasons. Visitors here have plenty to choose from, from leisurely walks through forests and lakes to challenging climbs to ambitious peaks. Another nature park, equally important and interesting, is the Puez-Odle Nature Park, which offers a variety of stones and rocks from hundreds of millions of years ago and enchanting views: towering walls, deep gorges, and deserted moon-looking plateaus. Several picturesque trails wind through the park, such as the Zannes Nature Trail at the entrance of the Funes Valley, where enchanted forests give way to gentle sunny pastures.
